Virginia Diaz has worked on a variety of projects at GMS including hospitals, retail, banks, and interior fit-outs. Some of her most recent projects include the new Louis Vuitton retail location at 1 West 57th Street, the new Gensler offices in the Theater District, and the 9/11 Tribute Center in Lower Manhattan. Ms. Diaz is a registered Professional Engineer in Argentina and a registered Civil Engineer in California and a registered Professional Engineer in New York.
Ms. Diaz participated on the GEER/ATC post-disaster investigative team, traveling to Ecuador in April 2016, to investigate earthquake preparedness and recovery as well as seismic code issues.
Prior to joining GMS, she worked on several high rise and large-scale projects in Argentina including the design of El Aleph in Buenos Aires, the first Foster & Partners completed project in Latin America.
