GMS provided structural engineering services for the redevelopment and fit out of the three lower levels plus basement to accommodate a new 60,000 sf Whole Foods Market. Services included the design of new framing and reinforcement for a new passenger elevator, two freight elevators, two escalators including the infill of the existing escalators, two stairs and two scissor lifts. The project also included the raised slab areas on the first floor, reinforcement for increased live loads, new MEP openings and supports.
