David Hoy is a registered professional engineer in New Jersey and New York. He has worked on new designs and construction as well as renovations and historic restorations. David designed the redevelopment at 281 Park Avenue South to create Fotografiska New York – the local branch of the Swedish photography museum. He has led teams which designed a new 22-story concrete residential tower, a 4-story spiral staircase for Barney’s NY, and numerous renovations and changes to historic structures, including 190 Bowery, 730 Fifth Avenue, 11 Howard Street, and Tavern on the Green.

David also works to retrofit structures for the New York City School Construction Authority, NYC Department of Design and Construction, and many private clients. He is a member of the Structural Engineers Association of New York, and the Association for Preservation Technology.
