GMS served as both the structural engineer and the curtain wall consultant for the new Toys “R” Us flagship store in New York City’s Time Square. This design incorporated a custom “point supported” glazing system and custom metal cladding. The fast-track schedule and complicated coordination issues required the extensive participation of GMS in all aspects of the façade design and erection.
Renovation of an existing building into a retail store with four levels, totaling over 103,000sq.ft. Included among the store’s new features are a large atrium, glass curtain wall façade, and two suspended glass walkways.
