Mount Sinai Hospital Emergency Department

GMS provided structural engineering services for the MSHS NSICU Guggenheim Pavilion at 1468 Madison Avenue. This gut renovation of the 36,000-sf emergency department included DOH filing and was designed to accommodate 6-phases as outlined in the master plan documents. Our scope of work included the support of new X-ray and CT equipment, structural review of the loads imposed by new mechanical units, and the review of MEP slab openings.
