GMS provided structural engineering services for the renovation of this West Village apartment. Our scope of work included reviewing the proposed plumbing core drill locations for the kitchen; reviewing loads imposed by a new wood platform and floor finish; and designing supports for miscellaneous millwork, including rotating and sliding doors.
Our scope also included the design of timber “furniture” in an apartment’s double-height living space, including two “tree houses” and one spiral staircase.
