GMS provided structural engineering services for a large estate (100 hectares, 250 acres) on the Pacific Coast in Panama. The project included approximately 1,500 square meters (16,000 sf) spread out over several buildings: a three-bedroom main house, four guest cabins, a pool house, and a separate spa building.
Given that the estate is located in a very remote region, the design is architecturally and structurally efficient, minimizing the overall energy demand. The project documentation was produced in Spanish using SI units.
