GMS provided structural engineering services for the lobby redevelopment and retail space expansion, which consisted of a two-story addition to the existing space. Services included reinforcing the first and second floors for retail occupancy and designing new framing for an occupiable roof terrace, including tree planters at the third-floor setback roof, MEP slab openings, and four grade-level retail entries. Additionally, the project included a new canopy, window-washing rig supports, and support for the curtain wall system.
