St. Thomas the Apostle School

Los Angeles, CA

Renovation and expansion of a K-8 school. The existing school building was modified to include a library, auditorium, computer labs, classrooms and administrative offices. The programmed space is approximately 11,500 sf.

New buildings consist of a double-height single-story auditorium and attached two-story buildings. The new buildings comprise a total of approximately 20,000 sf of programmed area and feature an assembly hall, kitchen, classrooms and administrative spaces.

The new buildings rest on a post-tensioned slab podium providing a 58,000 sf parking structure below.
