Avalon West Chelsea
GMS designed the structure for this “L-shaped” residential building approximately 588,000 sf. The 575-foot length will be built without an expansion joint. The building is cast-in-place flat plate concrete floors supported on piles with a height that ranges from one story to thirty-one stories. The street level will be filled with retail space.
GMS also performed the structural Special Inspections for cast-in-place concrete, precast concrete, welding, bolting, and steel erection.
