GMS is providing structural engineering services to redevelop this 1.2 million square foot, vintage building in Midtown Manhattan, which includes re-cladding, reconstructing the lobby, eliminating columns and floors to create interconnected floors and double-height spaces. Additionally, new occupiable terraces will be added on three sides of the building and the project will greatly improve the building’s energy efficiency.
