GMS provided subject matter expert structural engineering consulting services for mediation proceedings related to the $2.2 billion Transbay Transit Center. The facility was abruptly closed just weeks after its 2018 opening when severe fractures were discovered in key steel beams supporting the rooftop park over Freemont Street, leading to a $150 million lawsuit.
