Park Slope United Methodist Church
GMS was retained to provide structural engineering services for the church located at 414 6th Avenue in Brooklyn. The project is a small addition incorporating a LULA elevator to enable ADA access between the sanctuary level and the courtyard and additional stairs. Our work included the structure for a new rated shaft enclosure, a new roof over the lift and vestibule, a new stair, and renovations to the existing exterior church walls.
