Meadow Pavilion Stair

Cross River, NY

GMS provided structural engineering for the new guest house and for the extensive site retaining walls and landscape features on this sloped site. The structure functions as a guest house on a larger estate.

The stair was custom fabricated using perforated steel bent to form the treads and risers. The perforated steel was welded to a slot in the inner layer of the built up steel stringer. The gap between the inner and outer layers provides the seat for the glass guardrail and handrail.
