GMS provided structural engineering services to construct 12 new floors plus a cellar, and to preserve the walls of a former parking garage to create a state-of-the-art medical office building providing primary care, medical and surgical specialty care such as cardiology and orthopedics, outpatient mental health care, comprehensive HIV/AIDS care, and dentistry. In addition, it will include on-site radiology, laboratory and pharmacy services for the Mt. Sinai Health system. GMS also provided demolition and support of excavation drawings. The new building occupies approximately 76,000 sf, cost nearly $80M and opened in Fall 2022.
