Jonathan Hernandez is a Professional Engineer and Lead Partner of the Gilsanz Murray Steficek (GMS) Hospitals and Healthcare Initiative. He has extensive experience working with building owners, developers, and architects to provide innovative and cost effective structural solutions for even the most difficult building challenges.

Mr. Hernandez’s interest in the Healthcare industry led to his appointment as the Lead Partner for the GMS Hospitals and Healthcare Initiative. He specializes in the design of new and retro-fit spaces to accommodate cutting edge medical technology. With his extensive experience in solving structural challenges unique to Healthcare projects, he has achieved ‘preferred engineering consultant status’ with Leading Healthcare Systems. Mr. Hernandez is responsible for all infrastructure upgrades at Lenox Hill Hospital and Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital.
