GMS is working with Northwell Health to design a new 12,000 sf Central Utility Plant building with new chillers, boilers, pumps, switchgear, cooling towers and generators. The building will be topped by a new 2-story 48,000 sf Maternity Center. The new building will be a steel framed structure built on piles and is part of NYC resiliency investments.

GMS is also providing structural engineering services for a new Catheterization Lab, which is currently under construction and schematic design for a new cancer center. GMS previously designed the buildings for a Linear Accelerator, Radiation Oncology, Education Center and Burn Center.

Additionally, GMS is working with Northwell Health to design a new 40,000 sf Cancer Center on the North Campus. The project will add a third floor above the existing two-story Radiation Oncology Center and renovate the lower two floors.
