700 consulting engineers and clients attended the American Council of Engineering Companies of New York’s (ACEC New York) 51st annual Engineering Excellence Awards Gala in New York. The ACEC Engineering Excellence awards recognize the skills and innovation of New York’s consulting engineering firms. All project entries were judged by a panel based on uniqueness and originality; technical value to the engineering profession; social and economic considerations; complexity; and success in meeting client goals.
The Judges in this year’s competition selected 75 Rockefeller Plaza for a Platinum Award and Southern Connecticut State University’s Academic Science and Laboratory Building for a Gold Award, both in the category of Structural Systems.
