Sierra Bonita Mixed Use Affordable Housing
West Hollywood, California

Sierra Bonita is a 50,000 sq ft five-story mixed-use affordable housing building consisting of 42 one-bedroom units reserved for low-income residents with special needs.  The ground floor provides office spaces for various non-profit groups.  Steel framing with long span metal deck was used to accommodate the parking grid below and to minimize floor to floor dimensions.  Parking is provided on both the ground floor and cellar levels.  The design incorporates green elements such as low-impact building materials and photovoltaic panels on the façade and roof.
