Tim Barnard, PE

Tim Barnard’s 38+ years of structural engineering experience is diverse, ranging from design of high rise office and public buildings, to schools, to retail renovation projects in the US, Caribbean and Europe. He has also completed forensic engineering investigation of building collapses and worked with the NYC Housing Authority to improve resiliency to resist flood damage. Tim participated in the New York City Model Code program related to development of the new New York City Building Code and is a long-standing member of the CASE Guidelines Committee that has produced a number of industry-acclaimed publications. Tim is a member of The American Society of Civil Engineers, The Structural Engineers Association of New York, and The Institution of Civil Engineers (U.K).
