Since the mid 1990’s, GMS has provided structural engineering services to Lenox Hill Hospital for a wide range of projects to improve both their main Upper East Side campus and at their extension clinic – MEETH (Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital). GMS designed the ceiling and base supports for new IR Lab equipment on the 3rd Floor of the Uris Building, including MER equipment supports and RTU supports. GMS also designed foundations for new tomotheraphy equipment and the lead wall and ceiling shielding supports. And GMS performed the New York City code required structural Special Inspections for the project.
