The Partners of GMS are pleased to announce the following 2012 Promotions:

Jaimie Chen to Senior Engineer
David Shea to Associate
Achim Hermes to Associate Partner

Jaimie Chen joined GMS in 2008 as an intern. She is currently working on a new six-story office building within a landmarked facade in the Meat Packing district and several tenant fit-out projects.

David Shea, PE, is working on a recladding project in Plainsboro, NJ and recently completed the facades for two Uniqlo stores in Manhattan. He joined GMS’s Building Envelope group in 2010 as a senior engineer.

Achim Hermes, PE, joined GMS’s Building Envelope group in 2000. He is currently overseeing several façade projects in various stages from design to construction including Tower 3 at the Northside Piers development in Brooklyn, a new high rise luxury rental building, and the façade restoration of 530 Park Avenue in Manhattan. Achim’s prior projects include façade consulting at One Jackson Square, 510 Madison Avenue and 40 Mercer.
