Several of our engineers traveled to Fort Worth, TX, to attend the 2018 Structures Congress, where engineers are inspired, connect with leaders in the profession, and learn from experts. The congress is organized annually by the Structural Engineering Institute of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
Ramon Gilsanz is attending the Tensile Fabric Committee meeting and then the Disproportionate Collapse Committee to present Chapters 3 and 4 with Joshua Peng and Karl Rubenacker. Jessica Mandrick is Chairing the Young Professionals Committee, which is meeting at the Congress and is taking part in the Meet the Leaders breakfast.Vicki Arbitrio is attending the SECB Board meeting and is panelist in the discussion”Women in Structural Engineering – Bridging the Numbers Gap” (343139). Gary Steficek and Joe Mugford are also in attendance at the conference.
