Gilsanz
Murray Steficek was created with the intention to provide sound
engineering information and services in an efficient and involved
way. We have tripled our size in the past three years, but not without
cautious steps. We have sought out individuals who not only have
distinct abilities, but also have the capacity to learn new skills
quickly and proficiently. In the past 2 years, we have expanded
into several new disciplines, with a professional guiding the growth

this point, Gilsanz Murray Steficek is looking for talented
individuals who meet the following requirements:
STRUCTURAL
ENGINEER (NY)
Structural analysis and design of concrete/masonry/steel/
aluminum/ glass/timber buildings and components, computer modeling
for static and dynamic loads such as wind, seismic, blast;
plate/solid finite element modeling; geometric/material nonlinear
structural analysis; on-site inspection & lab mock-up tests. MS in
Structural Engineer required.
ARCHITECT
Seeking technical architects/engineers with 2+ year’s experience,
we have openings in curtain wall design, façade renovation and
inspection, historic preservation, LL11 inspections and
roofing/waterproofing. Licensed preferred but not required. We offer

Our Los Angeles, CA office positions:
STRUCTURAL ENGINEER (CA)
Responsible of analysis, design and management multi-million
dollars, high-rise luxury residential and commercial construction
projects in the US and abroad, performing linear and non-linear
analysis, design of concrete, post-tension and steel multiuse
high-rise buildings including projects located in high-seismic risk
areas and produce construction documents. Direct and participate in
meetings of staff members including designers, drafters, project
engineers, architects, owners and contractors. Design and prepare
detailed plans utilizing state-of-the-art software for the different
structural analysis including ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, PERFORM, RAM
Structural, RAM Advanced, RAM Concept, RISA 3D, STAADIII, CAST,
AutoCAD and Revit among others.
Requires a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or a Bachelor's
Degree in Civil Engineering and 5 years experience or reasonable
combination thereof. Experience can be progressive. No less than a
Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of experience is acceptable.
